Dr. Murphy was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and then completed his bachelor’s degree at The University of Notre Dame.

He earned his medical degree at Ross University, and then completed an internal medicine residency at Danbury Hospital/Yale University.

He completed a nephrology fellowship at the Maine Medical Center. Dr. Murphy is currently Board Certified in Nephrology and is certified by the American Society of Diagnostic & Interventional Nephrology as an Interventional Nephrologist.

He practices at the Access Center on a part-time basis while also practicing in Nevada and California.
